Oros is a fly fishing brand focused on helping all people access and find joy in fishing. 

Our name, Oros, is akin to Orogeny, “a process in which the outer layer of the earth is folded to form mountains." It’s how the Rocky Mountains were formed 80 million to 55 million years ago. Both orogeny and Oros are derived from Ancient Greek óros, meaning mountain or high ground.

Ensuring that future generations will be able to enjoy our wild spaces and waterways is important to us. Oros will make decisions that recognize the long term impact of our design and business decisions on people and the environment.
